Quality tested by experts

DLG TestService GmbH is one of the leading institutes in quality assurance and improvement for food, as well as in the awarding and quality control of raw materials, products and processes of the food industry and agricultural sector

In the pet food segment, DLG TestService GmbH provides information on the quality with three different awards: 

  • In order to achieve the award ”DLG-Certified“ the products must pass extensive laboratory tests and declaration controls.
 
  • The award ”DLG-Claim – Checked by experts“ amends the test criteria of the award ”DLG-tested“ by particular product attributes, which were scientifically confirmed by experts. 
 
  • The DLG Product Certificate “EXCELLENT“ * guarantees the controlled production, the analytically impeccable quality of the final product and its high sensory (in terms of taste) acceptance. The selection of raw materials and the production process were certified locally on site according to DLG’s own quality standard.

*DLG TestService GmbH is not accredited for this certification; the product certification "Excellent" according to DIN 17065 applies exclusively to wine, sparkling wine and semi-sparkling wine
